The children have been busy making snowflakes for our windows. They look fabulous! We are taking part in the Advent Christmas Calendar with Salisbury Road Baptist Church. There will be several windows in our local community taking part.

Year 2 have been showing off their fabulous computer skills this week when their teachers set them a coding challenge. The children needed to test the teacher’s algorithms and debug them. They did a marvellous job! #latcurriculum

 

Sparkle is in Year 5 today. 

Year 2 had a very special virtual visitor! As part of our R.E. curriculum, we had the opportunity to ask Tim Smith, the vicar at St Judes church, all about what would normally happen in the church at Christmas. We found out lots of really interesting information.

It was great to complete the PSSP half marathon over the last couple of weeks. Not the big event we wanted to give them but great to see them complete and receive their medals and t-shirts. Well done everybody who took part from Mr Taylor and Mr Williams.

Year 4 have written some brilliant descriptions using the story of Beowulf. We have been working on using different sentence structures to vary our writing. Great job year 4! #latcurriculum
