Pupil Premium Funding

Pupil Premium funding is allocated to schools to help improve the attainment of their disadvantaged pupils.

The Pupil Premium grant allocates funding to schools on the basis of the number of their pupils deemed to come from disadvantaged backgrounds and asks schools to demonstrate how the money is helping to close the gap between them and their peers.

Our Pupil Premium Strategy outlines how we are using the Pupil Premium grant to provide high quality teaching for all, targeted support and other approaches to narrow the attainment gap.

As a Learning Academies Trust School, we believe that every child deserves an outstanding education, whatever their starting point or background.

Recovery Premium

Recover Premium has been awarded to schools to support the academic recovery following the Coronavirus pandemic. This funding has been used to ensure that any gaps in learning are addressed during the year, with a particular emphasis on reading fluency. We have consulted EEF documentation to support our decisions for maximum impact. The below documentation, outlines our strategy and implementation for this additional funding.
