The Connecting Classrooms Through Global Learning Programme
The Connecting Classrooms through Global Learning programme supports schools internationally to learn about and collaborate on the big issues that shape our world, as well as helping our children develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes needed to thrive. The partnerships offer teachers the chance to share experiences and learn from each other. Our collaborative focus has been on the impact of single-use plastic. During the visit, teachers and children across the LAT, worked collaboratively with teachers from South Africa at a beach clean at Bovisands. The children and adults had a fantastic day and learnt lots of new information about plastic pollution. Additionally, our visitors spent time in our schools, speaking to our children and sharing their experiences and projects from South Africa.
