This week at Salisbury Road, we are celebrating Neurodiversity week.   

According to the Department of Education, 15% of students in the United Kingdom have a learning difference. 

#NeurodiversityCelebrationWeek is all about celebrating the talents of being neurodiverse. Did you know that Greta Thunberg has autism and ADD? Greta once said, "Being different is a gift". 

Satoshi Tajiri, creator of Pokémon is also autistic. He attributes his creativity, passion and relentless focus to being autistic. 

At Salisbury Road we celebrate Neuro Diversity and the individual needs of each child. If anyone would like any more information or support, please don’t hesitate to contact Mrs White.  

#Neurodiversity2021 

Year 4 had a lot of fun during Science Week 2021! We observed experiments, tested different toothpaste brands, made predictions, asked questions, recorded data and interpreted results. We were NHS Dentists for the week and have learnt a lot about how best to keep our teeth clean and healthy. 

We have had a great start to the day! We are really enjoying having everyone back and seeing all their smiling faces. We enjoyed our surprise visitor this morning.

Year 3 have really been enjoying World Book Day. 

Foundation had a great World Book Day story session online with our friends from home. We enjoyed The Clean Up story together 😊
