Indoor Rowing Competition

Year 4 - Dragon Eye Art
Mon 24 Jan 2022For their recent art unit, Year 4 have used pencil and a range of different techniques to create a dragon eye. They used cross-hatching, pebble and blending to add depth and detail to their work. Fantastic work year 4!

Year 3
Sat 22 Jan 2022Year 3 had a fantastic time making their own volcanoes today! The children were fascinated when learning about what volcanoes are and why they erupt. The children will now use their knowledge of volcanoes to help them write historical stories linked to the eruption of Mount Vesuvius! Well done Year 3.

Year 2 Great Fire of London
Wed 19 Jan 2022Year 2 have started their topic on the Great Fire of London by creating some pieces of artwork. They looked at paintings created by the artist Stephanie Peters who uses a silhouette effect. This approach inspired Year 2. Using the art skill of mixing colours, they created Great Fire of London silhouettes. Fantastic artwork, Year 2!
