Year 4 were very excited to be using equipment to create circuits last week. We gave them a battery, a bulb and some tin foil and asked them to light the bulb. Eventually, they worked out that the tin foil acted as a wire to close the circuit. After this, we gave them wires to use instead of the tin foil which allowed them to create a circuit using the correct components. There was lots of excitement in the classroom - fantastic!
