Oracy & Writing

  • Daily Reading by choosing an eBook
  • Use AR to quiz
  • 1 x weekly Reading Comprehension activity (questions at the back of Phonics books or Reading Comprehension activity sheet found in learning resources)
  • Complete the 'Daily Reading Extra Challenge' in learning resources. 
  • Listen to your child’s class teacher reading a story


  • Use the whole school  writing inspiration to discuss the questions on the Writing Inspiration Sheet.
  • Complete Up to 5 challenges from the Writing Challenges sheet found in learning resources

Theme - What a Wonderful World!

  • Complete the daily White Rose Maths Challenge. (Found in learning resources)
  • Check the answers from last weeks learning. (Found in learning resources)
  • Spend 10 minutes, daily on TTRS or Numbots


This week, our theme is 'What a Wonderful World'. Here are some fun and interesting projects to help you learn about different countries from across the globe. We look forward to seeing your learning. There are additional help found in learning resources.


  • Researching the 7 Natural Wonders of the world.
  • Researching the 7 Wonders of the world.
  • Complete the Planet Earth Quiz.
Keeping Active!


  • Use Jasmine to complete an activity.

Ask your teacher for the login details.


  • Complete a 'help at home' task and become a HELP AT HOME HERO! Show us what you have been doing - dishes, hovering, cleaning.  Send us your pictures! 
  • Create a chill zone.  It could be somewhere you read or listen to music.  You could use blankets, cushions etc.  Send us a picture of you in your chill zone.
  • - watch newsround for your daily news updates. 
  • - if you want something extra or different to try, look at BBC Bitesize!
