We use a systematic approach to teach phonics. We use a combination of Jolly Phonics and Read Write Inc to engage children and provide them with a well-structured sequence of lessons.
Letter sounds are introduced first before moving on to segmenting and blending (being able to hear the sounds in words to read and write).
