Year 5 participated in a workshop with Bethzienna Williams from The Voice. We discussed the impact of war on children and their families. Bethzienna then wrote songs using the children’s ideas for them to practise and perform the following day. On Thursday the children went to the Guildhall, attending a Community Roadshow Creative Project called 'Never Such Innocence'. This project founded by Lady Lucy French OBE aims to give children a voice on war and conflict. Many VIPs including Lady Lucy French, the Deputy Lord Mayor of Plymouth Mrs Terri Beer and military personnel from across our city attended this Roadshow. The children performed their songs on stage in front of all the VIPs and children from other schools
