The Box - National Marine Aquarium Year 4 Workshop
Last week, as part of an exciting heritage project at The Box (Plymouth Museum) some of the year 4 children were invited to take part in in a workshop at the National Marine Aquarium.
The Box is working on a project about how we used to eat called 'Your recipes, Your Heritage' where they are collecting old family recipes to compile a cook book. As part of this project they ran an event all about fish.
The focus of this project is working with isolated older people of the community and encouraging generations to work together.
The children were able to work closely with the older generation and spent an action packed day at the aquarium taking part in art workshops, a tour of the aquarium as well as being treated to a slap up lunch.
