Reading
  • Daily Phonics sessions - click link (https://www.salisburyroad.co.uk/phonics-3/). Please see your Dojo message to ensure you start on the right videos.
  • Daily Reading - please read stories at home with your child. You can find lots of stories online. We have access to the Oxford Reading Owl. Use your log in to access a range of books that relate to your child’s phonic level.
  • Reading pack – we have given each child copies of 12 reading books. Please read 2 of these a week. Reading a book multiple times is the best way to help your child develop pace, fluency and expression.
  • Listen to your child’s class teacher reading a story online - link will be posted on dojo weekly.
  • Complete the red word lesson and attached activity.

Theme - Dinosaurs

 

UW – Look at the job of an palaeontologist. What do they do? Can you be a palaeontologist and cut and stick the dinosaur bones back together.

 

 

EAD: Draw/paint/make your favourite dinosaur or use the split pin dinosaurs below to make one. Think about what your dinosaur might like to eat, how big it would have been and where it would have lived.
